PRIMARY SCHOOLS FOOTBALL FESTIVAL

Rainhill High School recently hosted an exciting Primary Schools Football Festival, bringing together young athletes from various local primary schools for a day filled with fun, learning and competition.

On Thursday, 20th June, the Rainhill High School PE department hosted its annual Summer Football Festival, inviting local primary schools to participate in this much-anticipated event. In collaboration with the Fowler Education Football Academy (FEFA), the festival featured skilled coaches and match officials, ensuring a memorable experience for all the young participants.

Under sunny skies, five enthusiastic teams from St Anne's and Eccleston Lane Ends took part in the festival, engaging in fun drills as well as both friendly and competitive matches designed to cater to all skill levels. Alex Noonan from FEFA commended the children for their exemplary sportsmanship and mutual support throughout the day.

The tournament culminated in an exciting extra-time victory for St Anne's over Eccleston Lane Ends, adding a thrilling finish to a day filled with joy and camaraderie. The event also offered prospective students a chance to explore Rainhill's facilities and learn more about the school's proud sporting legacy.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff, parents, and FEFA for their unwavering support and dedication. The PE department eagerly anticipates hosting more events like this, continuing to inspire excitement and a love for sport among local children.

Sincerely, The PE Team at Rainhill High School
