Over summer, Y6 pupils have been asked to read Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.
Out of My Mind is a fantastic, thought-provoking and inspirational story.
The book follows Eleven-year-old Melody. Melody is not like most people. She can’t walk. She can’t talk. She can’t write. All because she has cerebral palsy. But, she also has a photographic memory, which means she can remember every detail of everything she has ever experienced.
Watch the video below to meet some of our amazing staff here at RHS and listen to them reading a section of the novel.
