HOME-SCHOOL AGREEMENT
Working Together for Your Child
At Rainhill, we believe pupils do best when school, families and pupils work together.
Our Home-School Agreement sets out that shared commitment. It helps ensure that pupils experience consistent expectations, encouragement and support both at school and at home.
The things we ask of pupils are straightforward but important: attend well, be ready to learn, work hard, behave well, take responsibility and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
When these become habits, they support better learning, stronger relationships and successful outcomes.
School. Family. Pupil.
Each part of the partnership has a role to play in helping pupils succeed.

The Habits We Expect Every Day

This creates an important consistency between what we teach, what we expect and what we recognise.
When Your Child Needs Support
Talk to Us When Something Is Getting in the Way
Children sometimes experience difficulties that affect their learning, attendance, wellbeing or participation in school.
When that happens, we want families to talk to us early.
Your child’s Form Tutor or Year Student Manager is usually a good starting point. They can listen, help and connect you with additional or specialist support where this is needed.
More Than a List of Rules
The Home-School Agreement represents a partnership between your child, your family and Rainhill.
When we share high expectations, communicate openly and work together, pupils are more likely to develop the attendance, organisation, commitment, confidence and positive learning habits that help them succeed.
Helping every pupil make the most of their time at Rainhill and prepare successfully for what comes next.
