What Pupils Should Wear
The items below make up the standard Rainhill High School uniform.
School Blazer
The Rainhill school blazer is a compulsory branded item.
School Tie
The Rainhill school tie is a compulsory branded item and should be worn neatly.
White Shirt
A plain white school shirt should be worn as part of the everyday uniform.
Black Trousers
Plain black school trousers should be worn. Jeans are not permitted.
Knee-Length Box Pleat Skirt
Skirts must be box pleat and worn at knee length. Pinafores are not permitted.
V-Neck Double Stripe Jumper
The school V-neck double stripe jumper is optional and is available from uniform suppliers.
Black Socks or Tights
Pupils wearing skirts should wear black knee-length socks or black tights. Tights must be 40 denier or above.
Pupils wearing trousers should wear black socks.
Black Shoes
Plain black school shoes should be worn.
Blazers in Warmer Weather
When temperatures exceed 21°C, pupils do not need to wear their blazers around the school site.
Blazers must still be brought to school but may be kept in bags. Pupils will be informed when this arrangement is in place.
School PE Kit
The correct PE kit must be worn for all lessons.
The PE kit includes compulsory branded items alongside approved plain black options.
What to Wear for Dance
Full School Uniform
Pupils wear full school uniform but remove blazers, ties, shoes and socks for Dance lessons.
PE Kit or Suitable Dance Clothing
Pupils wear PE kit, or leggings and a T-shirt with bare feet. Cropped tops are not permitted.
