We are thrilled to share some truly historic news from the sporting field! Our Year 7 boys’ team has achieved a remarkable milestone, showcasing their talent, tenacity, and team spirit in spectacular fashion.
A huge congratulations to our Year 7 boys’ team, who have etched their names into the history books by becoming the first team from our school to qualify for the North West ‘B’ Final.
In a fiercely contested match against a resilient Saddleworth side, the boys delivered a superb performance, securing an 18–12 victory through determination, skill, and teamwork.
Tries were scored by T. Bartley and H. Fullerton, who crossed the line twice. L. Stephenson was flawless with the boot, successfully converting all three tries.
A special mention goes to N. Hearing, who was deservedly named Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution throughout.
