LFC Success
It may only be July but LFC’s preparations for the 2019/20 season are well underway and last week they took on Tranmere at Prenton Park in their first pre-season friendly.

The staff of Rainhill High were very proud to see our former pupils including Adam Lewis, Curtis Jones, Ben Woodburn, Paul Glatzel, Rhian Brewster and Dan Atherton play for the first team in this game. Liverpool ran out 6-0 winners including two goals from Rhian and one from Curtis.
It was a particularly special game for Dan Atherton who regularly plays as a Goalkeeper. However, due to a second half injury to Paul Glatzel, he was deployed as an emergency striker for the last 15 minutes of the game.
