Our PE Department has been busy this week.
It was fantastic to host a Y9/10 girls football tournament this evening and welcome lots of schools over from Liverpool. Congratulations to Belvedere who were the overall winners.
Well done to the Y7 netball teams who experienced their first competitive matches in the St Helens festival with both teams recording two wins
Superb, resilient display by the Y11 boys football team. Johnson (x2) and Wilson with the goals in a 3-3 thriller.
Dickson with 3 penalty saves saw us through in the National Cup.
Well done to the Y8 Netball team in the Liverpool League this evening. They won 2/3 games. Some lovely passages of play and a real team effort both in attack and defence.
Great run out for the Y9 boys winning 3 of their 4 games in the St Helens rugby festival. Some great performances in the half’s by Mullen and Bass and some strong running from Frost.
Congratulations to the Y7 girls football team who progress through to the next round of the National Cup. After a tight first half, the girls ran out comfortable winners with a dominant second half display.
Our Y9 boys rugby team take to the field tonight in the St Helens festival. Hopefully they can build on last week’s competitive performance against a strong Cowley side.
