SPORTING SUCCESS – JANUARY HIGHLIGHTS
What a fantastic month for school sport, with students across all key stages achieving excellent results and representing the school with pride. Their hard work, teamwork and commitment have been evident in a number of successful performances and competition progressions.

Congratulations to our Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 boys’ badminton teams for their excellent performances in the National Schools Badminton Championship. Both teams demonstrated outstanding skill, teamwork and determination to progress to the next round of the competition. The Key Stage 5 team delivered a particularly dominant performance, securing a 5–0 victory, while the Key Stage 4 team achieved an impressive 4–1 win. We wish all teams the very best of luck in the upcoming rounds.
Well done to our Y8 Netball team who had a lovely time at the Y8 Netball Festival at DLS. Great to see our training coming into play on court.
Huge congratulations to our indoor athletics teams who competed in the town Indoor Athletics competition.
3 of our 4 teams qualified in the top 2 places and special congratulations to our Y7 boys who earned 1st place.

Congratulations to the Y7/8 girls football team who have made it through to the next round of the Merseyside Cup after beating Maghull High 3-0 tonight. A game against Woodchurch (away) in the next round.
