We are incredibly proud to announce that our Year 10 boys’ football team has won the St Helens Cup for the second consecutive year – an outstanding achievement that reflects their hard work, dedication, and team spirit.
The team delivered a superb performance in the final, showcasing exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the match. Special commendations go to Tom W and Ben W for their significant contributions on the pitch, demonstrating both leadership and resilience under pressure.
A particular highlight was the remarkable performance by our striker, Will F, who was awarded Player of the Match after scoring a perfect hat-trick – one goal with his left foot, one with his right, and one with his head.
This victory is a testament to the commitment and effort of the entire squad, as well as the continued support from coaching staff and parents.
Well done, lads – an excellent result and a proud moment for Rainhill!
