TOWN SPORTS RESULTS
After some number crunching and sifting through the times and distances we have our officials results through from another great day at Town Sports.
Starting with the boys competitions… A fantastic effort by all athletes saw us come home with:
Junior Boys - Runners Up
Intermediate Boys - Runners Up
Senior Boys Winners - Winners
This was enough to see our boys crowned Overall Boys Champions.
And now for the girls who put in some outstanding performances on the day…

Intermediate Girls - Winners
Senior Girls - Runners Up
Strong performances in both the track and the field saw us claim Overall Girls Champions.
With all the points combined we are thrilled to announce we were crowned Overall Town Sports Champions 2023 and retained the title for the 4th year in a row. An amazing day of running, jumping and throwing was a fitting end to an outstanding athletics season.
On the day, we had several records get broken in what weren’t ideal athletics conditions…
Firstly, Year 7 James K launched the Shot Putt an unprecedented 10.02m in a huge effort.
And again in Yr7 Amelia C sent the Javelin 19.30m for another Yr7 record.
Taigan H breaks her own 1500m record going round in a time of 5m49s and one of the performances of the day was from Daisy Hatton becoming the first Yr7 girl to go under 30s clocking an impressive 28.9s.
