WOMEN IN SPORT EVENT
Rainhill PE were delighted to take our Year 8 netball team to a fantastic Women in Sport Netball event, hosted by the LFC Foundation. The event provided a valuable opportunity for our students to take part in a celebration of female participation in sport, encouraging confidence, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Throughout the day, pupils engaged in a variety of netball activities and match play, allowing them to further develop their skills, apply their training and build strong team connections. It was particularly pleasing to see the students grow in confidence as the event progressed, embracing challenges and supporting one another both on and off the court.
The team demonstrated outstanding spirit, enthusiasm and sportsmanship at all times, representing the school with pride and maturity. Their positive attitude and willingness to fully immerse themselves in the experience made the day both rewarding and memorable for all involved.
We extend our sincere thanks to the LFC Foundation for organising such a well-run and inspiring event, and for providing our students with an experience that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on their sporting journey.
